The Bull floor lamp is a sculptural lamp inspired by the characteristic use of animals in Danish modernism from the 1940s to the 1960s. The lamp is named after its bovine opal glass lampshade, which gives it a smooth distribution of light and a distinctive expression. The Bull consists of an unpolished gray marble base, complemented by an oxidized aluminum lamp arm, and is upholstered in cognac-coloured leather. The tops of the luminaire are also made of oxidized aluminium, which creates a beautiful contrast between the textured metal surface and the smooth translucent opal glass. The interplay between many exquisite materials creates a sophisticated expression that makes Bull lamps more than just a source of light.
